Mission: To provide financial support through grants for childcare programs to improve access to high-quality childcare in the Jackson community. Jackson Hole Child Care Helpers (JHCCH) was founded in 2004 by Berte Hirschfield, a mother and grandmother, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Additional board members include: Sue Sugden and Claire Johnson. One hundred percent of the money raised with Old Bill's partner pre-schools goes directly to benefit the pre-schools through grants. Since 2004, JHCCH has been assisting licensed preschools and childcare facilities with much needed school supplies, learning tools, playground equipment, art and music classes, physical education programs and so much more. JHCCH is striving to provide support for licensed child care programs in order to improve access to high quality child care in the Jackson Hole community. The funds raised by JHCCH are awarded through grants, to child care programs that meet JHCCH requirements, for specified use that will directly benefit the children involved (ie: supplies, field trips, learning tools, physical education support, art classes, music classes etc.). There is a need to support, high quality child care programs in the Jackson Hole community. JHCCH grants funds that directly benefit the children as well as the community as a whole. Donations to JHCCH facilitate the increase in quality and affordability of child care programs. The hope is that JHCCH will expand and strengthen the licensed child care programs in the Jackson Hole community. Jackson Hole Child Care Helpers - PO Box 706 Wilson, WY 83014 |
